Form300A summarizes annual totals and must be posted in a conspicuous workplace location from February 1, 2025 and remain visible through April 30, 2025.
Employers with 10 or fewer employees during the prior calendar year or those in industries listed in Appendix A of Subpart B are partially exempt from keeping OSHA injury and illness records. Despite exemptions, all employers must report incidents involving fatalities, in-patient hospitalizations, amputations, or eye loss to OSHA.
Companies with 250+ employees, unless listed as exempt, or those with 20-249 employees in certain high-risk industries must electronically submit their Form 300Asummaries to OSHA. For detailed guidance, visit OSHA’s Injury Tracking Application.
Additionally, Form 300 is a log of individual incidents and must be retained for 5 years. Certain cases should exclude employee names and substitute it with “Privacy Case.” Form 300 should not be posted in your workplace.
